Derrick Weston is the Director of Theological Education and Formation at Creation Justice Ministries, an ecumenical organization helping Christians to live in right relationship with God’s Creation. Derrick has spent over twenty years working in churches and faith based community organizations and has spent much of the last decade exploring the intersection of faith and food justice. HIs first book, The Just Kitchen: Invitations to Sustainability, Cooking, Connection, and Celebration was released 2023 and his next book Food For All, part of the Building a Moral Economy series will release in Spring of 2026. Derrick is married to Rev. Shannon Weston and they are the parents of four teenagers.
